The practice was established in 1988 and is registered with the Royal Institute of British Architects. Matthew Young has considerable experience in a range of building types but today there is an emphasis on high quality residential work. This encompasses new houses, refurbishment, extensions, and alterations and includes works to listed buildings. The practice is based in South Oxfordshire but there are also current projects in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey, and designs have been successfully completed for buildings abroad.

A full service from inception to completion is offered but the extent of work will be tailored to suit individual clients.
The practice places importance on high quality of design and personal service and reinforced by development of a team approach with ultimately the key figures, Client, Architect and Builder working together to reach a successful conclusion.
